Description

New Balance launched the 2002R in 2020 as a lifestyle model inspired by the MR2002. The brand dug into its 2002 archives, a year when running shoes oscillated between minimalism and overload, and remixed the design with the bulkier proportions that sneakerheads had been asking for in the 2010s. The 2002R doesn’t imitate the past. It corrects it. Marblehead proves that the gray-blue colorway worked in 2002 and still works today.

Leather on the forefoot. Suede on the quarter. Technical mesh that breathes. The rubber sole lasts ten years without cracking. Marblehead doesn’t shout. It speaks just loudly enough for people to notice you have taste.
