Description

The 2002R established itself in 2022 as the model that brought New Balance back into sneaker culture after ten years of relative invisibility. This Black Gunmetal version plays with contrast, deep black and metallic gray, without unnecessary spectacle. The pair capitalizes on the construction of the 2002R: substantial geometry, ABZORB sole, visible thickness.

Leather, suede, and mesh in the upper. Durable rubber on the sole. Gunmetal breaks up the monotony of black while remaining understated, neither flashy nor generic. This minimalist approach explains why Black Gunmetal remains sought-after: the pair works with everything, ages well, and remains rare in full size runs.
