Description

The Shox R4 returns in its cleanest colorway. Nike introduced Shox technology in 2000 to cushion vertical impact, with Shox columns in the heel designed to absorb shock. The model has survived fashion cycles because its mechanics really work. This Black Metallic Silver iteration leaves behind the flashy hues of the 2000s for a minimalist look: the contrast between matte black and metallic silver creates a subtle presence.

The upper combines synthetic materials and leather, grounding the pair in classic sports construction. The rubber sole wraps around the Shox columns, which remain visible through the translucent window. Each spring responds independently underfoot. This distinctive geometry explains why collectors return to the R4: it performs, ages well, and feels different on the foot from anything else on the market.
