Description

The Handball Spezial left the courts in 1979 to take to the streets of Berlin. German players adopted it long before sneakerheads did. This Black Gum version revives the original colorway of the model, the one that bridged sports functionality and urban desirability. The translucent gum sole marks the authenticity of the design.

Leather and suede structure the upper. The gum rubber sole creates contrast: deep black on aged cream. Lightweight, streamlined, without graphic overload. This pair endures because it asks for nothing more than to be worn, day after day, until it becomes unique.
