SNKRS Day 2023 Recap: The Swoosh Lovers’ Meeting Place
If you missed it, last week was the famous SNKRS Day on the Nike app, and this time on a global scale! Between new releases, live shows and interactive content, the Coproom team summarizes the highlights of this SNKRS Day 2023!
The Nike Dunk Low Premium Vintage Navy
After being pushed back several times, it is finally this SNKRS Day that marks the release of the Nike Dunk Low “Premium Vintage Navy” ! It made its appearance via a raffle so that all fans of the Nike Dunk Low could try their luck.
The Nike Dunk Low University Red
Meanwhile, the Nike Dunk Low “University Red,” which originally launched in 2020, has resurfaced through an unexpected SNKRS Scratch. For those unfamiliar, SNKRS Scratch is actually a game hosted by Nike, where you scratch off to reveal a special offer.
The Air Jordan 4 Red Cement
And of course, the highlight of the show was the surprise release of the Air Jordan 4 “Red Cement” , available in different sizes for all members of the family. This creation is a fusion of the AJ4 “White Cement” and the AJ4 “Fire Red”.
A celebration in half-tones
Unfortunately, Nike has once again failed to deliver on the SNKRS Day 2021. Indeed, many felt a certain disappointment, especially with the somewhat lackluster program of the day. Despite some interesting launches, the animation was clearly lacking, with only a 50-minute live stream for the entire day. Other activation points were observed in Munich (BSTN), Amsterdam (MAHA), Barcelona (Solebox) and London (SNS), but France, particularly Paris, was sadly neglected.
Hopefully Nike will take note of the criticism for SNKRS Day 2024!
