The Jordan 4, a now legendary model
Although most of us were unable to experience Michael Jordan's sporting exploits firsthand during the 80s and 90s, this era remains remembered as the golden age of the NBA for many fans. Michael Jordan, or "His Airness", captivated with his aerial game and his legendary dunks. These timeless moments resonated deeply with a generation passionate about sports and still influence Nike's designers. Borrowing from this magic, they designed the new version of the famous Air Jordan 4, called 'Frozen Moments'.

Frozen Moments, a name inspired by Michael Jordan
If the Air Jordan 4 means anything to you, you know it's the creation of Tinker Hatfield. Designed in 1989, after his triumphs with the Air Max 1 and the Air Jordan 3, Hatfield confirmed his genius with this silhouette. But here, it's the Jordan 4 that gets all our attention.
During the 1988-89 season, wearing the Jordan 4, Michael Jordan delivered a breathtaking performance with an average of 32.5 points per game. This model became iconic on May 7, 1989, thanks to a decisive shot by Jordan. This “Frozen” moment is one of many that inspired this new colorway of the AJ4.
The name "frozen moment" also recalls a 1997 advertisement for the Air Jordan 12. This advertisement perfectly illustrates the magic that Jordan brought to each game.

The Air Jordan 4 'Frozen Moments' is part of a long series of exclusively women's versions. But gentlemen, don't worry! Although designed primarily for women, this pair is available in larger sizes.
